THE NEGRO LEAGUES, which thrived in the years before professional baseball was integrated in the late 1940’s, serve as inspiration for the artists in this exhibition. It features about 40 original works of art, ranging from portraits of some of the major players, such as Satchel Paige, to renderings of the scene in and around the games themselves. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday. Admission, which includes fours of the Louisville Slugger bat factory, is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $4 for children 6 to 12. Free Saturday admission for local residents in January and February.
